If you don’t have the time to learn how to whitewater kayak,  then inflatable kayaks are an excellent choice.  Wider and more stable than their hardshell counterparts, they are a great option to experience harder whitewater.  Inflatable kayaks are also very portable. Inflatable Kayak rentals packages may include Personal Flotation Device  (PFDs),  paddle(s), helmet(s), and repair kit.  

The Details and Fine Print on Rental Procedures

Call in Sick Rental:  Same day boat rental. (example:  Pick up Tuesday evening before we close and return gear before we close on Wednesday.  Or Pick up Wednesday morning and return Thursday morning.)  First come, first serve basis - no reservations will be taken.  Perfect for a day trip to Lucky Peak or the Payette River. 

The Weekend Pass:  Two day boat rental up to 48 hours.  (example:  Pick up Friday night within 1 hour of closing and return on Sunday evening before closing).

Long Weekend: Three day boat rental. (example:  Leave town Friday morning and return Sunday evening.)

4 Day Getaway: The ultimate weekend!  (example:  Pick up Thursday night up to one hour before closing, or Friday morning and return on Monday evening before closing)

Summer Vacation:  7 Days of Bliss!  Let us Provide the gear for the entire trip.  Maybe the Middle Fork of the Salmon, a trip to the Oregon Coast or Yellowstone.  We can help!

Recreational Deluxe Package:  May includes PFD'(s) and paddles, bilge pump, and paddle float.

Reservations:   There is a two day minimum required to make any advance reservation.  A non-refundable deposit equal to one-half of the rental total is required at the time of the reservation.  If you know your pick up day and drop off day, as well as what package you are looking for, just call us up for prices and availability!  You can make your reservations in the store or over the phone at (208) 331-BOAT (2628) with a deposit on your major credit card.

Damage Deposits:  A fully refundable damage / loss deposit equal to 90% retail value is required at the time of pickup.  Damage deposits will consist of a personal check and credit card deposit of the renter.  An Alpenglow Mountainsport, LLC. Contract/liability waiver must be signed by the renter.
