S.U.P. Paddles come in many varieties and prices. Length are generally 8-12 inches taller than head height. Starting at the less expensive end of the spectrum, aluminum dominates. Most aluminum S.U.P. paddles are adjustable for various paddler heights. as you move up the price scale, weight drops. The nicest paddles are carbon fiber. Fragile, but extremely powerful.
